The global conversation on journalism and artificial intelligence returns this November. Join us for networking and thought-provoking sessions with industry leaders.

The JournalismAI Festival is the premier gathering for journalists, newsroom leaders, and technologists to share what AI really means for publishers, in practice, not theory. Expect fireside chats with leading voices, roundtables that take on the hard questions, and hands-on workshops you can put to use straight away.

Why we're introducing a small fee for in person tickets

Last year, demand for our in-person slots was very high, and every seat was reserved. But on the day, a number of those seats went unused, which meant people on our waitlist missed out on places they would gladly have taken. Introducing a nominal ticket fee helps us confirm that everyone who books a seat genuinely intends to join us, so that no place goes to waste and those on the waitlist get their chance to attend.

The ticket fees are as follows:

  • £50 – both days

  • £25 – single day

Please note: once your in-person registration is approved, payment must be made within 48 hours to secure your place.

We never want price to be the reason you can't come. If the fee isn't affordable for you, email festival@journalismai.info, and we'll arrange a waiver.

Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

When it comes to gender, race and ethnicity, both journalism and artificial intelligence have a representation problem. Media professionals who identify as women or LGBTQ+, people of colour, and those from the Global South and other marginalised communities, face significantly more challenges in getting their work recognised on the global stage.

At JournalismAI, we recognise this disparity. Our commitment to striving for more equal and increased representation is a guiding principle across all of our activities. In the Festival, we aim to achieve a gender-balanced, inclusive and diverse programme. All speakers are invited as subject-matter experts and are not asked to talk about journalism and AI in an identity context.

Our goal is for the Festival to bring to life the fascinating diversity of thought, opinion and experience in the global JournalismAI community.
