With the rise of generative AI in 2023, the journalism industry recognised the importance of harnessing the potential of these new technologies. To do so, newsrooms and other organisations supporting the work of journalists worldwide are often looking for expert trainers, coaches, and consultants who can help with understanding AI’s risks and potential, and support their AI implementation efforts.
To facilitate the meeting of demand and supply in this area, we have created this directory of AI consultants and trainers working in journalism, news and media.
The directory is provided as a resource for connecting with individual consultants and trainers. Inclusion in this list does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by JournalismAI and ICFJ.
The idea behind the directory comes from ICFJ Knight Fellow and former JournalismAI manager Mattia Peretti. At JournalismAI, we’ve been working since 2019 to empower news organisations to use AI responsibly, which is why we are excited to partner with Mattia and ICFJ in the creation of this directory.
